Als je firefox wilt gaan gebruiken met mijn profiel dan wil ik je erop wijzen dat Sessionsaver al ge-enabled is. sommige mensen vinden dit hinderlijk  (Soms kan hij ook een pop-undermenu geven, ga dan met ALT-TAB naar firefox ) , Als je niet wilt dat Sessionsaver de vorige sessie restored , dan kun je dit uitzetten. (extentions - Sessionsaver - rechtermuis options - vinkje weg van every startup bij I'd like mij browser restored)

Ik heb een mooi mozilla profiel gemaakt waar alles al kant en klaar staat.

  [Gebruiksaanwijzing voor download bij Rapidshare is: kies bij "Select your download" (helemaal onderaan) de knop "Free".  wacht de aangegeven seconden en tik grafische code in en klik dan op "Download"
Nog niet firefox 2 installeren - Don't install firefox 2 yet.
The easiest way to do these steps is with Total Commander.
If you already have Firefox installed and want to use my profile
1. FIRST copy your own profile en rename it. (for backup)
It's located at: C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla (Ctrl-C , Ctrl-V, and rename the copy of mozilla)
  your bookmarks you can import in my bookmarks later but don't name your bookmark file bookmarks.html but bookmarks-yourname.html
  if you want you form information, you can later copy your formhistory.dat back: Hier wordt alle informatie opgeslagen die je invult in webformulieren en de zoekbalk , It located at: C:\Documents and Settings\[user neme]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default
 !!! saved login names & passwords are NOT copied to my profile.
2. Delete C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla
If you also have installed Mozilla Suite then you can NOT use my profile unless you really know what you are doing
because Mozilla Suite & Firefox use the same C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla .
If you want to do it,  registry.dat & plugin.dat & Profiles directory in C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla your backup should be copied to C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla   See screenshot

3. Voor het installeren van firefox copier je de Mozilla handig default profiel rick ext v2.1 11-12 ssfix2 directory die in Mozilla handig default profiel rick ext v2.1 11-12 ssfix2.zip
staat naar C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data
4. Rename Mozilla handig default profiel rick ext v2.1 11-12 ssfix2 to  Mozilla
5. Dit doe je voor elke gebruiker. (do for every user)
6. Nu kun je firefox installeren. (install firefox now)
Sessionsaver is al ge-enabled en ingesteld. (hij kan soms pop-undermenu geven, ga dan met ALT-TAB naar firefox )
7. Choose restore sessions - in the about:plugins tab you can see witich plugins you have.
You can find them here https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/plugins/
if your plugins are not the last version, it's the best to update.
Actual versions 11-12-06: QuickTime Plug-in 7.1.3 (watch out that you don't accedently get the version with iTunes, take QuickTime 7.1.3 for Windows 2000/XP) , Flash 9.0 r28, Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 (vooralsnog is alleen een Engelstalige versie beschikbaar) zit lek in 7.08 en downloadmanager., Java(TM) 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0 Update 9 , uninstall old java versions because that is not done automatic and you could still be vulnerable. see : Java_gebruikers_ondanks_patch_nog_steeds_kwetsbaar.html, eventually RealPlayer10-5GOLD 6.0.12.1741.
!!!! If you don't won't google or yahoo toolbars (I don't advise it)  be aware how you install program's.
Instaleer de browser plugins als je klaar bent met firefox installatie
Secunia Software Inspector, Een hééle handig tool om te kijken of je safe bent met bovenstaande programma's. kies: Enable thorough system inspection. gebruiksaanwijzing en Meer info over software inspector & flash   

8. Firefox will ask to to make it the default browser - choose YES
9. Na installatie all-in-one_sidebar openen en extenties kiezen (green puzzel icon)
  Don't  click on enable in add-on compatibility cheching is disabled - click it away
10. extenties updaten
Als je er nieuwe extenties bijzet (via intrekken xpi file) en ze komen niet in .
dan all-in-one_sidebar-0.7-fx+fl.xpi verwijderen en weer opnieuw er inzetten (deze heeft een bug waardoor je geen ext. meer kunt toevoegen)

11. importing bookmarks (bladwijzers) or Internet Explorer favorites:
ga naar bladwijzers- bladwijzers beheren - bestand - importeren - maak je keuze more info
firefox bookmarks were saved in C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla your backup\bookmark.html

Weer het close tab kruisjes rechts ipv op elke tab 1.In the Address Bar type  about:config 2. filter on browser.tabs.closeButtons .  right click - modify Now you need to select the type of close button you want: 0 - display a close button on the active tab only, 1 - display close buttons on all tabs, 2 - don’t display any close buttons, and 3 - display a single close button at the end of the tab strip

If it my profile doesn't work (ok) or your missing to many of or own things copy back your own backuped profile
Delete or rename C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla
copy your own profile en rename it to mozilla
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla your backup (ctrl-C , Ctrl-V, and remane the copy to mozilla)

Firefox slaat je persoonlijke instellingen (cache, web form data etc.) op in een profiel-map. 
Profiel map is bij Windows XP/2000 is het pad gewoonlijk C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default en de rest spreekt voor zich. Maak hiervan regelmatig een backup. !!

De Profile Manager wordt gebruikt om meerdere profielen te beheren Om de Profile Manager te starten, start je Firefox met de -p switch. Bij Windows, doe het volgende:
  1. Sluit Firefox volledig af (selecteer File > Exit in het menu).
  2. Selecteer Start > Uitvoeren... van het Windows Startmenu.
  3. Voer het volledige pad van Firefox in, voorzien van aanhalingstekens en tik dan de -p switch, b.v.:
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -P
Om firefox zonder extenties op te starten moet men firefox in safe mode opstarten: start - Programma's  - Mozilla Firefox - firefox safe-mode (there is a shortcut in this profile zip file)
